The great tit (latin: Parus major, dutch: koolmees) is a common but unique garden bird.
This little garden bird lives in whole Eurasia. They are very common and raid my garden often. They are very pretty birds with a wide range of colors. They are yellow, green, white, black and blue. They also look like they are wearing a little tie which is very cute.
They eat insects, fruits and seeds. They usually roam in groups of atleast two, one moment there are like 6 birds in your garden and the next it’s empty. This is a pretty archetypical bird, I think they would get a solid 9.7 on the bird scale. Robins are obviously 10, but the great tit gets close.
Don’t really have a lot more to say. They sound funny and unique. Kinda like a scream. I think I’ve seen them a lot, meaning I think they are unremarkable because I have seen them a lot. I don’t think they are unremarkable, they are very pretty, but there is not a lot of interesting to say. Except maybe that during spring the males balls grow like 10 times the size squishing their stomach meaning they cant eat as much. The world of birds is wonderful.
